Martina Ozbič

Dr. Martina Ozbič is a speech therapist - deaf pedagogue and rehabilitation pedagogue. Since 1995, she has been working in the field of providing assistance to people with special educational and communication needs. At various times, she was employed or collaborated with: the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Ljubljana (first- and second-degree programs in Speech Therapy and Deaf Education and other programs at the faculty), with the Faculty of Applied Social Studies Nova Gorica (first-degree program Psychosocial Support), with IRCCS La Nostra Famiglia - Pasian di Prato (Udine), with the University of Trieste and in Udine - Faculty of Medicine and Surgery (first-level program Speech Therapy), with the Mitja Čuk Foundation, with the Cooperative Center for Social Activities Trieste, with the KRUT club, with RAI - Radio Trieste A and with other institutions such as kindergartens, schools, student dormitories in Italy and Slovenia. She currently has her own private studio and offers help to children, adolescents and adults with speech, language, communication barriers, learning difficulties and special educational needs. She was also active in the field of voluntary work. She is the author of numerous articles and contributions in Slovenian as well as in English and Italian, the initiator and author of adaptations of tests and questionnaires in Slovenian, a member of domestic and international professional associations and actively collaborates with internationally recognized experts in the field of clinical linguistics and speech therapy.
